Citing MRF

Acknowledgement of contributions that the MRF facility and staff make to publications is encouraged as they enable us to demonstrate our involvement in the research of a large number of laboratories, aiding the support of current equipment and procurement of future equipment. Below are suggestions of standard methods of acknowledging MRF.

MRF Facility Acknowledgement

If MRF staff are listed as co-authors or have not made an intellectual or technical contribution then the MRF facility can be given an appropriate acknowledgement in any resulting publications using the following statement.

This work was performed in part at the University of North Texas's Materials Research Facility: A shared research facility for multi-dimensional fabrication and characterization.

MRF Staff Acknowledgement

MRF staff that have made an intellectual or technical contribution not justifying co-authorship can be given an appropriate acknowledgement in any resulting publications using the following statement.

This work was performed in part at the University of North Texas's Materials Research Facility: A shared research facility for multi-dimensional fabrication and characterization and with the assistance of Dr. Jianchao Li.

MRF Staff Co-Authorship

Co-authorship on publications for MRF staff may be considered appropriate when they have provided one or more of the following:

  1. Significant intellectual contribution to the design of the published experiments.
  2. Substantial practical contribution to the generation, analysis and/or interpretation of experimental data;
  3. Indispensable technical support that contributed intellectually or scientifically to the advancement of the work.
